I made the forum post. First off, I really like the message of this piece and the photo used for the background. It was well-chosen, and reminds me that plants get through hardships like the winter every year and grow again. People should be able to do that, too :) The words chosen for the background were very good as well. My only criticism is that the fonts used don't really match the background, if you get me. They could have been a little more cursive, maybe a little closer together in the background so that they don't detract some from the background picture. There's a balance between the two. Other than that, though, great work. You get a fave.

Yeah to be honest, I whipped this up in less than thirty minutes and really wasn't very discerning about the fonts. My focus was more on the words themselvs. Having taken a few graphic design classes in college, I was conditioned to steer clear of cursive fonts, despite them being more visually appealing and decorative.

Is that an olive branch? If it is, it has strong symbolism and meaning - not just new growth after trouble, but a new begging after a great storm.

It's actually a pepper tree -where we get peppercorns. Although we do have olive trees here. But I like the symbolism.
